Ethiopian Dress Designs
Traditional clothes have mostly been made by dress weavers “Shemmanes” for local consumption. However, the dress weavers “Shemmanes” and other entrepreneurs entering into the traditional clothes are improving the design and quality of the clothes to meet the changing needs and tastes of the consumers. Due to this, demand for Ethiopian traditional clothes is increasing, both locally and abroad by the Diaspora and foreigners tourists.
